I pro skupinu Victorius z Lipska (Bavorsko) jsme položili podobné otázky, tak jak všem. Ať se nám trochu přiblíží, a ať se i možná pobavíme předem než dorazí na South of Heaven.
Alan – Ahoj bando. Kdy jste se dozvěděli o tomto festivale?
Andreas – Ahoj Alane! Abych byl upřímný, neslyšeli jsme o festivalu, dokud nám o něm náš agent neřekl. V České republice jsme již hráli, takže víme, že bude skvělá párty!
Alan – Když jste se o festu dozvěděli, koukli jste i na předešlé ročníky? Nebo South of Heaven mapujete dýl?
Andreas – Díval jsem se na předchozí ročníky. Zjevně vám chybí kapela zpívající o laserových dinosaurech! Ale to se teď změní!
Alan – Tuto otázku pokládám pokaždé, u každého ročníku, tak ji položím i vám. Už jste hráli někdy v lomu? Co na to říkáte?
Andreas – Haha… ne! Máme se bát? Zvuk bude podle mě skvělý.
Alan – Prozraďte nějaké zajímavé místa kde jste si už zahráli koncert, nebo festival. Třeba vlak, letadlo, loď, strž …..?
Andreas – Jednou jsme hráli na lodi. Nebyla to plavba, jen loď. Měli jsme štěstí, že nepršelo, protože naše zákulisí byla jen příď lodi. Byla to velká legrace. Znovu jsme vytvořili ikonické momenty z „Titanicku“. Vesměs to byla kulisa přídi lodi.
Alan – Co u vás nového, zajímavého? Album, změna v sestavě atd ….?
Andreas – Máme novou skladbu! Je o tom, že dinosauři dělají dinosauří věci. Takže asi jako obvykle. Pracujeme na další nové hudbě. Nemohu říct nic víc, nebo se na mě Dirk bude zlobit haha.
Alan – Na South of Heaven přivezete co? Myšleno v repertoáru? A nebo i pokud s sebou povezete nějaké překvapení, ven s tím.
Andreas – Přivezeme příběhy o laserových dinosaurech, zlých ninjech a samurajích s jetpacky… možná i laserové zbraně… kdo ví…
Alan – Co děláte když nehrajete?
Andreas – Většinou pracujeme v nudných denních zaměstnáních a hrajeme videohry. Sám se rád poflakuji po barech a hospodách. Můj oblíbený nápoj je Pilsner Urquell. Doufám, že ho budete mít na sfestivale!
Alan – Váš kout, vaše domovina – jak se vám tam hraje? A nějakou perličku můžete říci/napsat?
Andreas – Pocházíme z regionu Lipsko v Německu. Řekl bych, že je to po kulturní stránce střed mezi západní Evropou a Českou republikou. Myslím, že jste už o Německu slyšeli. Jsme ti dobří, že? Haha
Alan – Bylo by něco, co na sebe prásknete, a nikde jinde jste to ještě neřekli, nebo nenapsali?
Andreas – Nemám ponětí, jak se vyslovuje Pteranodon. Myslím, že proto jim říkáme Jurské stíhačky.
Alan – Na co (nač), nebo na koho se na festivale South of Heaven nejvíce těšíte?
Andreas – Pivo, párty, hudba a lidi!
Alan – Díky za rozhovor pro nás a pro návštěvníky festivalu South of Heaven. Uvidíme se na pódiu. Se mnou určitě, já jsem ten co to vše uvádí a v čas vás z pódia vyžene kvůli prostoru pro další kapelu.
Andreas – Haha pěkný pokus. Bylo mi řečeno, že hrajeme poslední. Uvidíme se tam!
We will ask some not-so-serious questions to every band performing at this festival. We are happy that they will play with us, also they are happy that they will play with us. We are happy together. Alan – Hi gang. When did you hear about this festival?
Andreas – Hi Alan! To be honest we haven’t heard of the festival before our agent told us about it. We have played in the Czech Republic before so we know there will be a great party!
Alan – When you heard about the festival, did you look at the previous ones? Or are you learning about South of Heaven just now?
Andreas – I’m learning about it just now! I have looked at the previous edition. You clearly lack a band singing about laser dinos! But that will change now!
Alan – I ask this question every time, with every year, so I will ask it again. Have you ever played in a quarry? What do you think about it?
Andreas – Haha … no! Do we have to be scared? The sound will be great I guess.
Alan – Tell us about some interesting places where you have already played a concert or a festival. For example, a train, a plane, a ship, a jet…..?
Andreas – Once we played on a boat. It was no metal cruise, just a boat. We’ve had luck there was no rain because our backstage area was just the ship’s bow. It was great fun. We recreated iconic moments from “Titanic”.
Alan – What’s new, interesting about you? Album, line-up change, etc…?
Andreas – We have a new song! It’s about dinosaurs doing dinosaur things. So business as usual I guess. And we’re working on more new music. But I can’t tell anything more or Dirk will be mad at me haha.
Alan – What will you bring to South of Heaven? Thought as in the repertoire? Or even if you bring a surprise, can you hint about it?
Andreas – We’ll bring stories about laser dinosaurs, evil ninjas and samurais with jetpacks … maybe even a laser weapon… who knows…
Alan – What do you do when you’re not playing?
Andreas – Mostly working in boring day jobs and playing video games. I myself like to hang out in bars and pubs. My favourite drink is Pilsner Urquell. I hope you’ll have it at your festival!
Alan – Your corner, your homeland – how are you doing there? And can you say/write something interesting about your homeland?
Andreas – We come from the region of Leipzig in Germany. I would say it’s the middle thing between Western Europe and Czech Republic on the cultural side. I think you guys have heard of Germany before. We’re the good ones, right? haha
Alan – Is there anything you’re going to tell about yourself that you haven’t said or written anywhere else?
Andreas – I have no clue how to pronounce Pteranodon. I guess that’s why we call them Jurassic Jetfighters.
Alan – What or who are you most looking forward to at South of Heaven?
Andreas – Beer and party! And music! And people!
