After years the band that changes life of many Slovak and Czech people comes back on music scene. Neo-punk that hadn’t competition on Slovak scene. Ine Kafe describe us with few words singer and guitarist Vratko Rohoň.

After years in exile you come back on stage to make many happy. What was the reason of this comeback?

The reason was unstoppable pressure from fans as well as our connection with music. After years, we sat and define how the band will work on. We´ll play few concerts a year.

You get away from music for few years and change guitar for plane. Lot was written in magazines but let´s try to describe us your years without music. Many musicians couldn’t imagine their life without music. How get you through this?

It wasn’t that bad. I relax and get away from all this madness. We played nearly 100 concerts a year. I started to enjoy concerts of other bands like fan and I spent different way than before. You have to know how to relax. 

So….we knows about you. What about the other members of band? How they live without Ine Kafe in these years?

Wayo and Dodo make music in these days actively, Forus was studying in London.

You released Best of album last year and it contains three new songs – “Mojich najlepších 15 rokov (My best 15 years)”, “Déjà vu” and “Keby prachy z neba padali (If money rains from heaven)”. What inspires you to write these songs?

Same thing that inspires us to write every other song – life.

Best of album contains CD with unplugged versions of your classical song as well. Who´s idea was to record something like this? It isn’t common thing in you band.

I like acoustic versions of songs. You can see soul and nature of song. If song is good it works. Otherwise it isn’t.

How did you enjoyed cooperation with orchestra and that many musicians?

Great. We cooperate with professionals so it was good. Basically – it is musician as musician…

You are planning releasing of new album in 2011. What can you tell us about  this new album?

Let us be surprised :)

Are you planning some special shows for tour in January? On what can fans look forward to?

Tour will hit 5 cities with 15 concerts. We aren’t band that makes any megalomaniac extra shows. It would be something, which we can call “our classics”. 90 minutes of energy, new songs as well as old ones… People have to leave hall sweaty, tired and happy.

Support bands would be different for every show. How did you choose these bands? How many did you actually get offers from various bands?

We wanted to support rock music in Slovakia and to offer to young unknown bands to perform in front of bigger crowd… We got a lot of offers and we choose those which music interested us.

How did you felt about tempo of selling of tickets? It wasn’t common in our lands.

I think that people got our music in their hearts and they want to see us live…

Let´s get back to your flying experiences for a second. You take American The Offspring  on their concert in “Terchovsky budzogan festival”.  How did you enjoyed this experience? Have you had talk with them a bit about music as well?

I was preparing to take The Offspring on this festival but it wasn’t possible. Their airplane wasn’t able to land on Airport Žilina in case of short landing strip. They approached our company but they deal with it other way at last. Pity … it could be fun. BTW – Dexter flies with same plane as I do (Cessna Citation CJ2). The only difference is that he owns his one…:D

We get to New Year in these days. What is your relationship to the New Year's intentions? Are you planning to have one? Are you successful with their performance?

I got no relation to them. I don´t even think about it…
