German gothic metallers CREMATORY released their new DVD so we decided to ask them some questions not only about the new live record.

Hey guys. It´s so nice to hear from you. How are you?

We are fine at this time and we are on holiday!

You´ve just released a new DVD – Live W:O.A. Are you satisfied with the result? I mean the final production and everything related to the recording?

We are very satisfied with the result. It was a good show and we had a lot of fun. Every time in Wacken was and is great, because it´s the biggest Metal Festival all over the world.

Why have you decided to record live album on a festival not on your own show?

Because at Wacken are everytime good filmteams with a lot of cameras and we can buy from them good stuff for good prices to do an DVD.

Was it difficult to choose the setlist for the performance?

I chose my favorite songs and that’s it. Crematory has a lot of hits and we play them all and some stuff from the new album.

When you´re performing at this big festival like Wacken definitely there´re lots of other bands for sure. Do you also have time to attend some other bands´ performances?

Yes we took a look of many other bands and met a lot of friends and had a good party.

What is the music that inspires you?

All kind of music. from pop to metal. We have different influrences.

Not only the music but in general, what is your inspiration to compose new songs?

I wanna create something for my life and the future. I live for the music my whole life.

How do you spend your free time? Besides peforming or composing music…

Soccer with my girls.

If you weren´t a musician, what would you do? What would be your job?

We all have normal jobs. I´m selling since over 20 years insurance. If I weren´t a musician I would be a soccerstar as a goalkeeper which I did in my youth.

What was your first touch with music?

When I was 10 years old I get a Christmas my first drum and that was the beginning of my career.

Are you planning any shows also in Slovakia or at least close to us?

We will release the new studio album in spring of 2016 for our 25 anniversary next year we will play a lot of festivals all over Europe and we hope to get some offer also from your country.

Final words… Is there anything you´d like to tell to our readers, your fans?
